Our Delacombe centre is located in a quiet estate, close to a brand-new shopping precinct. Caring for children from 6 weeks to kindergarten, our educators strive to make our centre feel like home for each family that walks through our doors.

Our spacious learning environments provide each child with an abundance of learning opportunities, reflecting our holistic approach to the care & education of each child, as an individual.

Our outdoor spaces allow children the time and space to connect with nature, providing each child with opportunities for unstructured play. Outdoor play is a part of everyday, allowing the children the opportunities to engage with their senses, as well as mentally, physically and socially challenging themselves.

Our on-site chef prepares a fresh, seasonal menu daily, reflecting the multicultural background of our families. Meals are served in our dining room, allowing children to engage in social interactions as they eat.

MEET Louise

My name is Louise Attwater and I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 22 years.

What I wanted to be when I grew up was a holiday rep working in the kid’s club while families got to relax. But as I worked my way through high school and spoke to my careers adviser who suggested in complete a childcare course, I knew it was looking after children and helping them grow that was my passion.

I moved from England with my family when I was 19 and studied my certificate 3 in children’s services. Once I had obtained this I worked and a nanny, looking after 2 children

Then in 2004 I started working at ABC as a casual, which quickly turned into a full time role in a Toddler room. After a couple of years working I decided to complete my Diploma and in 2010 this was completed. Through this time ABC changed hands and it became Goodstart.

I have since then had great experiences within management including working as a Program Coordinator with outside school hours programs overseeing 6 services in Ballarat including the Ballarat Specialist School in 2016. I then became a Centre Director for another company for 4.5 years in 2019. I then joined Brady Bunch in 2023.

I believe that each child is an individual and as an educator I will value and develop each child’s strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. I like to ensure that all families are supported to the best of my ability. Having a welcoming environment is something I pride myself in.
